Telegent Systems Names Stephen Zadig Vice President of Operations
Former Marvell Executive Brings Operations Expertise to Telegent
Sunnyvale, CA - August 7, 2007 - Telegent Systems, the provider of high performance, single-chip solutions enabling free-to-air and pay-per-view mobile TV in cellular phones and portable media devices, recently appointed Stephen Zadig as vice president of global operations.
A seasoned semiconductor executive, Zadig joins Telegent Systems with more than thirty years of operations management experience. Zadig brings to Telegent deep expertise in the development of global operational infrastructure to support manufacturing needs during rapid growth, as well as an extensive background in growing companies from start-up through IPO.
Prior to joining Telegent Systems, Zadig was the founding vice president of operations at Marvell Semiconductor, where during his tenure the company grew from zero to $300 million in revenue and became the highest ranking quality semiconductor supplier to the hard disk drive industry. Zadig previously held vice president of operations positions at Paradigm Technology and C-Cube Microsystems, where he established and managed vendor relationships to support a fabless business model. While at C-Cube, Zadig was a principal founder of the Fabless Semiconductor Association and served as chairman of the Forecast Committee.
