VP of Global Product Marketing
(full-time position, location: China)The VP of Global Product Marketing will report to the Chief Executive Officer of the Company. The successful candidate will be a senior executive of the Company and will be responsible for key aspects of the business including new product planning and product marketing and will play a key role in strategic sales engagement and sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
The VP of Global Product Marketing will have responsibilities in the following critical areas:
- Product Management / Marketing
- Work with the CEO, CTO and VP of Engineering to develop future product initiatives.
- Drive strategic planning process with executive team.
- Build and manage global product and technical marketing organization across multiple product lines.
- Define and drive cradle-to-grave product life cycle process and key milestones.
- Analyze competition, technology trends and engage with customers to define product requirements and assess market opportunity.
- Conduct market sizing and segmentation.
- Generate pricing strategies.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 10 yrs. of experience in semiconductor component marketing with product responsibility.
- The ideal candidate will be a current or former executive from a respected semiconductor organization and will have significant experience in product management and in managing professional-level marketing personnel.
- He/she will also have experience working in a hands-on environment, a track record of success introducing new products to the marketplace and proven ability to grow revenue.
- Experience marketing of chips into mobile handset or PC OEMs.
- Management of complete product cycle from definition of product to volume production.
- Demonstrated understanding of the challenges associated with commercializing new technologies.
- Able to interface successfully with technical development team, customers, and partners.
- Proven record of effective leadership and mentorship of a team of marketing professionals.

Director, Digital Design
(full-time position, location: Sunnyvale)Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of SOC digital design, including microarchitecture, logic design, synthesis, verification, and place and route.
- Provide leadership to a growing group of 20-30 engineers and engineering managers.
- Shepherd multiple products through all stages of the development process.
- Continuously improve methodologies, processes and procedures.
Skills and Experience:
- At least 5 years experience in semiconductor design management, at least 3 at director level for a group of 15 or greater.
- Results oriented with good process management.
- Demonstrated success in delivering products in a predictable and timely fashion.
- Working knowledge of industry standard verification, prototyping and back end flows.
- Understanding of basic DSP blocks (such as filtering, Viterbi, FFT, etc.).

Business Development Manager, LatAm
(full-time position)Job Responsibilities:
- Member of Telegent’s global business development team.
- Identifies, builds and manages partnerships in Latin American trade free zones (Panama, Uruguay and Paraguay).
- Identifies relationships between local traders, distributors and customers in China and Hong-Kong (IDHs, ODMs, OEMs).
- Identifies and implement programs oriented at driving preference for products that use Telegent technology.
- Feeds back market trends and works with product management to identify and evaluate opportunities for existing and new products.
Required Skills:
- Based in Panama City, Paraguay or Mexico City.
- Fluent English and Spanish. Working knowledge of Mandarin and conversant Portuguese preferred.
- Deep knowledge of the semiconductor, telecom, cellular (handset definition) industries (at least 5-7 years of experience, marketing, biz dev, sales), ability to feedback handset definition requirements.

Product Manager
(full-time position, location: Sunnyvale, CA)Responsibilities:
- Drive product planning efforts including business cases (MRD/PRD/ROI) and market investigations/tracking.
- Define product features and specifications; validate, and dynamically update against evolving market requirements.
- Make product decisions (business & technical) on behalf of the market & corporate requirements (& escalate appropriately).
- Drive operational programs across functional boundaries.
- Manage the product lifecycle including the business plan, product requirements/validation, driving the development, datasheets, sampling, production, positioning, PCNs, collateral, competitive analysis, roadmap, etc.
- Contribute to the definition of business plans, marketing strategy, and own forecasts for assigned products. Maintains status of customer requirements for existing and future products.
- Manage customer opportunities & engagements. Direct & coordinate the efforts of the customer/product team including sales, distributors, applications, & R&D.
- Promote Telegent products to customers; analyze opportunities to find sockets for Telegent products in customer products and applications.

Requirements:

Sr. Manager, Production & Inventory Control - Hong Kong
(full-time position, location: Hong Kong)Job Responsibilities
- Manage Master Planning using ASCP planning tool – based on Sales forecast, WIP management.
- Good communication and ability to travel to US and subcontractors as required.
- Will manage/supervise Production Control, Purchasing and inventory for HK office.
- Responsible for quarterly cycle counts and Fiscal Year End inventory audits at all subcontractor sites.
- Work direct with Finance regarding inventory reconciliations and month end responsibilities.
- Direct interface with Customer Service and Sales regarding distributors and Tier 1 customer requirements.
- Direct interface with Operations for assembly, test and logistics requirements for each product, customer.
- Direct interface with Oracle BSA for Oracle related issues with regards to problems, reports and enhancements.

Required Skills
- Must have Semiconductor experience in planning and inventory management – this is mandatory.

- Oracle OSFM experience is definitely a plus.

Oracle Application Support Manager
(full-time position, location: Sunnyvale)This position provides management and direction for Telegent Systems in the area of systems analysis, new program development and support for global 7X24 Oracle 12i Applications, interfaces and purchased 3rd party software. This role oversees the preparation, testing, implementation and maintenance processes associated with all enterprise software. He/she will consult with the appropriate company individuals to determine needs, suggest possible solutions, establish priorities, and extents to which external development staff will provide support. The application manager maintains project plans, schedules, creates contingency plans, and tracks or documents all programming and system changes made. This individual will report to the Director of IT to assist in determining goals for sustained future growth, strategic direction, timelines, and system integrations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manages contractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to budget and on time project delivery.
- Maintains 404 compliance for change management and SOD.
- Coordinates and manages staff project responsibilities during all software upgrades and implementations.
- Provides recommendations to Director of IT for software development tools, skill set enhancements, services, personnel and other requirements.
- Consults with functional representatives concerning new form and report development, documents, and workflows, and/or modifications to existing applications.
- Ensures software issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
- Monitors outstanding service requests, patch applications and associated testing.

Requirements include:

Staff/Sr. Staff Engineer, Systems Characterization
(full-time position, location: Sunnyvale)Responsibilities:
The candidate will characterize leading-edge SoCs so as to ensure that all Telegent products released to the field meet the highest standards.
Requirements:
- System characterization experience for highly integrated SoCs with understanding of device characterization and validation methods.
- Ability to work across many disciplines (RF, digital HW, signal processing) with practical hands-on experience.
- Solid understanding of analog TV standards PAL, NTSC and SECAM.
- Experience with video and audio performance/quality metrics for analog and digital TV broadcast.
- Familiarity with device specification and parameters is required.
- Familiar with various test equipments and experience with equipment automation setups (i.e. broadcast test systems, audio analyzers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
- Excellent problem solving skills, strong analysis skills, independent thinker.
- Ability to communicate efficiently with cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve silicon, board, or firmware issues.
- Good team player with mindset to move things forward.

Hardware Field Applications Engineer
(full-time position in Field Applications Engineering, location: Taiwan)Provide hardware support to customers integrating Telegent products into their designs.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with customers during initial evaluation, design integration and ongoing manufacturing phases.
- Troubleshoot RF analog and digital design issues at the component level.
- Establish close technical relationships with customer teams to ensure quick and efficient resolution of issues.
- Identify and analyze all reported customer issues, and solve technical issues to the extent possible.
- Work closely with the entire customer team, including Sales, Program Management, and Applications Engineering.
- Escalate, as necessary, critical customer issues and provide timely warning of issues that need attention.
Job Requirements
- Excellent trouble-shooting skills.
- Experience with the operation of a variety of laboratory equipment: signal generators, multimeters, and equipment suitable for RF testing (Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer).
- Experience with OrCAD schematics and PADS tools, or equivalent ones.
- Organized, self-starter, team player, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous board-level electronic design experience is beneficial.
- Previous experience in a direct customer support role is beneficial.

Lab Technician/Engineer
(full-time position in Product Development, location: Sunnyvale)Responsibilities:
- Work closely with RF characterization team to support advanced RFIC product evaluation and characterization including: test setup and debug, executing test suites, collecting test results, processing data and presenting information in a clear and logical manner to help drive engineering decisions.
- Support engineers in the lab with equipment setup & maintenance, IC and board testing, chip evaluation, test debug, board rework & soldering, troubleshooting RF/analog and digital circuits, and overall hardware support.
Requirements:
- Experience with the operation of a variety of laboratory equipment including: power supplies, signal generators, multimeters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and other equipment suitable for RF testing.
- RF laboratory experience and demonstrated efficiency with board debug & rework and ability to solder small SMA components. Must be familiar with standard RF components, cables, connectors, etc.
- Organized, self-starter, team player, good written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiar with typical Windows applications, and high proficiency with MS Excel (pivot tables, data analysis and manipulation, graphs/formatting/information pesentation important).
Prefer:
- Familiarity with standard RF tests including IP3, NF, Gain, Phase noise, Sensitivity, S-parameter measurement, etc.
- Ability to implement test automation using Labview software.
- Proficiency with Matlab a plus.
Educational Requirements:
BSEE with 0-3 years of work experience or 10+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
